Thank You!
Dear Donor,
As a honored recipient of the Oscar and Rosetta Fish Scholarship for Excellence, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your generous support.
I am currently a junior majoring in Accounting, Management, and Human Resource Management in the Shidler College of Business. In my senior year, I also plan on adding one more major -- Finance, to further develop myself as a prospective business professional. As a representative of the Shidler community, I am actively involved with the Accounting Club and Shidler Global Leaders (formerly the Fish Scholars), as the Executive President and Community Service Coordinator, respectively. With the skills and experiences I gain in the college, my career goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and practice public accounting in one of the international firms upon graduation. Throughout this journey, I truly appreciate all support and encouragement from the local community and beyond.
Growing up with a less privileged financial background, I am committed to education as it is empowering and life-changing. Your support will go a long way in achieving my educational and career goals. When I graduate, I hope to use what I have learned at the Shidler College of Business to make a difference in people’s lives, the same way that you have made a difference in mine. Thank you once again for your act of kindness and this opportunity, which made an incredible difference in my life as well as my family’s.
Sincerely,
Joyce Pang
